Commemorate one of the most influential women's basketball players in the history of Delta State University. 

Known as the 'Queen of Basketball' the accomplishments of Luisa (Lucy) Harris are no less than awe inspiring. 

Lucy was the first black woman inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. She is the only woman to ever be officially drafted by the NBA even though she declined the offer. She was a member of the 1976 United States Olympic Team. She was instrumental in leading the Lady Statesmen to three consecutive national titles in the mid-70's. 

Her legacy lives on through all of us.
